Ebbett’s new high end Audi and Volkswagen car dealership in Hamilton boasts two showrooms and an independent café. The two dealerships have been built to align with Volkswagen and Audi's global corporate identity designs so these two prestigious brands are instantly recognisable worldwide.
Project Requirements & Sika Solution
Ebbett’s new workshop sets a new benchmark in New Zealand for safe, functional and attractive vehicle workshop floors.
The combination of 3mm self-smoothing Sikafloor-264 finished with a Sikafloor-315 top coat provides an attractive, lightly textured non-slip finish.
The light texture meets building code requirements for wet areas, yet is still functional and easy to clean and maintain - important in an environment where wet vehicles, oil and fuel can create a slippery environment.
This Sikafloor system provides a surface impervious to liquids, protecting the concrete floor from oil, fuel and chemical contamination.
While many colour options are available, the chosen light grey colour ensures the workshop is bright and assists technicians’ visibility by reflecting light up and under vehicles.
The system provides an impact and highly abrasion resistant finish to provide years of service.
The over-all result is a functional floor that looks stunning.
In addition, Sikafloor-2540 W was used for car grooming areas to provide an impervious, attractive, easy-care, economical, coloured floor finish.
Sikafloor CureHard-24 was used for parts and storage areas, providing a natural concrete finish with enhanced properties including anti-dusting, reduced permeability and increased abrasion resistance.
