What is a Building Product Information Sheet and why is it needed?

On 11 December 2023, new regulations for building product information requirements will commence. The new regulations have been introduced by the New Zealand Government and MBIE (Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment), to provide building product users with information about how building products contribute to compliance with the Building Code.  BPISs (some call them Product Technical Statements) allow suppliers of those building products to make this information easily accessible.
