Rosedale WWTP, situated just north of Auckland, is the second largest waste water treatment plant in the Auckland region and is among the largest in New Zealand. It provides primary, secondary and advanced treatment of effluent froma population of approximately 185,000 people.
Work to improve the biosolids processing, odour control and storage facilities has been completed as part of a programme of phased upgrades to the facility and its associated sewer network.
Project Requirements
Water bars, grout and sealants suitable for potable water andalso some refurbishment work such as crack injection.
Challenges
The foam joints are protected with a proprietary aluminium cover plate which must sit flush on the surface.
