Fire Resistance
Fire resistance is an important consideration for every building, regardless of its location or climate. Sarnafil PVC membranes are designed to self-extinguish once the flame source is removed, helping to resist the spread of fire and reduce potential damage to the building.
Sarnafil PVC goes head-to-head with fire-retardant EPDM and TPO roofing membranes in a vertical burn test. After 15 seconds of direct flame exposure, Sarnafil self-extinguished once the flame source was removed, while the alternative membranes continued to burn - demonstrating Sarnafil’s ability to resist flame spread.
