Hydrotech Monolithic Membrane 6125 is a hot-applied rubberised asphalt waterproofing membrane system designed for high-performance roofing and waterproofing applications.

Hydrotech is now part of Sika. The acquisition strengthens Sika’s roofing and waterproofing portfolio, and complements Sika’s sustainability focus.

Flat and low-slope roofs

Hydrotech MM6125 is well suited to flat and low-slope roof applications where a robust, fully bonded waterproofing membrane is required. Its monolithic application helps create a seamless waterproofing layer across the roof area, reducing reliance on laps and joins.

Protected membrane roofs

Hydrotech MM6125 can be used in protected membrane roof assemblies, where the waterproofing membrane is installed below insulation and protection layers. This helps shield the membrane from UV exposure, temperature changes, weathering and physical damage from rooftop activity.

Roof terraces

For roof terraces and usable rooftop spaces, Hydrotech MM6125 provides a fully bonded waterproofing layer beneath the finished surface. This makes it suitable for roof areas that need to perform as both a waterproofing system and a functional outdoor space.

Green roofs

Hydrotech MM6125 can be used as the waterproofing layer within green roof assemblies, supporting planted roof areas where long-term waterproofing performance is essential. It should be used as part of a correctly designed system with the appropriate protection, drainage and root barrier components.
