SikaRoof® Drainage Composite 5006H is a high quality, prefabricated drainage composite designed to protect the waterproofing membrane and provide continuous free flow of water in horizontal applications such as green roofs, plaza decks and planters.

Usage

Chemical Base

Recycled polypropylene drainage core of fused, entangled filaments and a geometric fabric bonded to both sides. Entangled filaments are moulded into an open square waffle pattern.

Storage Conditions

Rolls must be stored horizontally on a dry, clean and even surface.  Do not stack more than two rolls high.  Installed composite must be covered within two weeks.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

SikaRoof® Drainage Composite 5006H is installed by approved and trained Sarnafil applicators only.  The drainage composite is loosely laid over the completed waterproofing system. Rolls can be cut with scissors or a sharp knife.

APPLICATION

The roll inludes a 100mm overlap of fleece; adjacent rolls are butted together, one facing up and the other facing down. This ensures there is a 100mm overlap on both sides of the butted joint. The cores of each roll must not be overlapped. Rolls may be laid parallel or perpendicular to the water flow direction, except when applied under concrete slabs below grade, where the rolls must only be installed perpendicular to water outlets.
