Wynard 100 located on Halsey Street in Auckland CBD, has completed the first stage of development of its 50,000m2 site. It will have a 154 room Travelodge hotel, retail and commercial office spaces, restaurants, and a Countdown. The 7-storey building has 385 carparks on site.

Project Requirements

The client required a trafficable, waterproof membrane with crack bridging abilities that would be suitable for entrance ways and exits of the car park facilities that are exposed to weathering and direct sunlight.

Challenges

Due to the height of the new 7-storey building and close proximity to downtown harbour, it would be exposed to multiple issues, including wear and tear due to salt water – Sika Dynamic Car Park Deck System properties would provide maximum protection to the exposed top deck car park.
