Self-adhesive sealing tape for compound seal

Self-adhesive system component of a compound seal for flexible and waterproof bypass of areas at risk of cracking (wall corners, floor-to-wall connections, pipelines etc.).

Usage

  • Sealing together between tile and slab surfaces in wet rooms such as bathrooms and showers

  • Waterproof bypass of expansion and connection joints

  • System component for the Sika® SealMat DC decoupling and sealing mat
  • For use indoors and outdoors

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The substrate must be secure, ready to take loads as well as free of oil, grease, dust and other separating layers. A primer may have to be used depending on the compound seal.
