Sika® Injection-222

Hydrophilic flexible polyurethane grout

Sika® Injection-222 is a single component flexible hydrophilic MDI based urethane injection grout. Sika® Injection-222 reacts with water to form a permanent flexible closed cell polyurethane seal.

Application Information

Mixing Ratio

Sika® Injection-222 can be mixed with water before injection to increase the free rise ratio and to quicken the rise time. The water:resin ratio typically used is from 1:1 up to 1:4.

Application steps

EQUIPMENT

Sika® Injection-222 is typically injected by use of a single component pump that is designed for high pressure use.

MIXING

Sika® Injection-222 is ready to use from the pail. Make sure product is pre-conditioned before use to an optimum 20-25ºC. If product has crystallisation due to low temperature storage, indirect heating and mixing using a power drill mixer paddle may be required before use.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Please consult equipment/pump manufacturer for relative cleaning agent suitable for your individual equipment being used.
