APPLICATION

Corrosion control using the Hybrid anodes system:

Sika® FerroGard® XLPE Coated Titanium Wire is used to make an electrical connection to the steel and to the Sika® FerroGard®-300s Duo anodes. The wires from the anodes and the steel are connected to a DC power supply (during the first phase of the treatment) or shorted together to operate the system galvanically in second phase of the treatment.  The XLPE coating is electrically insulating and is stripped from the titanium at the points where the anodes are connected.
