Sika® FerroGard®-310 Duo

Sika® FerroGard®-310 Duo is a zinc based discrete anode which is fixed to corroding reinforcement steel to mitigate chloride and carbonation induced corrosion in reinforced concrete structures.

Sika® FerroGard®-310 Duo is a dual technology anode based on the use of a galvanic anode in both an impressed and sacrificial anode function.The complete anode component consists of a cylindrical zinc core covered in an activated coating, separate white spacers and a titanium connecting wire.

The anode works in 2 phases:

1st phase - an impressed current is driven from the Sika® FerroGard®-310 Duo anode to the steel using a temporary power supply. During this stage, the reinforcement’s passive film is strengthened and aggressive ions are drawn away.

2nd phase - at the end of the 1st phase the power is removed. The anode then acts as a long term sacrificial anode preventing further corrosion.

Sika® FerroGard®-315 Duo

Sika® FerroGard®-315 Duo is a zinc based discrete sacrificial anode placed outside  concrete repaired areas in reinforced concrete structures which are corroding as a result of chloride ingress.

Sika® FerroGard®-315 Duo  is a dual technology anode based on the use of a galvanic anode in both an impressed and sacrificial anode function

Sika® FerroGard®-315 Duo discrete anodes are placed into sound chloride contaminated concrete outside of any concrete repaired areas.

The anode works in 2 phases:

Sika® FerroGard®-510 Patch

Sika® FerroGard®-510 Patch is a zinc based discrete sacrificial anode placed inside a concrete repaired area in reinforced concrete structures which are corroding as a result of chloride ingress and/or carbonation.

Sika® FerroGard®-510 Patch anodes are placed along the perimeter of the repair area and fixed to the reinforcement prior to the application of a concrete repair system. The reinforcement outside the repaired area is at greatest corrosion risk owing to the passive condition of the reinforcement within the repaired area. Sika® FerroGard®-510 Patch anodes corrode preferentially to the surrounding reinforcement offering protection against incipient corrosion damage.

In addition, standard repair mortars, bonding primers and reinforcement corrosion protection coatings can be used as Sika® FerroGard®-510 Patch is placed in the parent concrete and not within the repair mortar.

Sika® FerroGard®-515 Patch

Sika® FerroGard®-515 Patch is a zinc based discrete sacrificial anode placed inside a concrete repaired area in reinforced concrete structures which are corroding as a result of chloride ingress or carbonation.

Sika® FerroGard®-515 Patch anodes are placed along the perimeter of the repair area and fixed to the reinforcement prior to the application of a concrete repair system. Sika® FerroGard®-500 Crete

The Sika® FerroGard®-500 Crete is a 1-part, pre-mixed mortar packaged in a sealant cartridge.

The Sika® FerroGard®-500 Crete mortar is used in the installation of the galvanic Sika® FerroGard® Patch anode units. The cure time and physical properties have been designed to simplify installation and optimise performance.

Sika® FerroGard®-300 DuoCrete

Sika® FerroGard®-300 DuoCrete mortar is used in the installation of the Sika® FerroGard® Duo Hybrid Anode range into corrosion damaged reinforced concrete. The Sika® FerroGard®-300 DuoCrete mortar is pre-mixed and packaged in a sealant tube and applied into pre-drilled holes in the concrete before the anode is inserted to generate an embedded unit.

The Sika® FerroGard®-300 DuoCrete mortar facilitates activation of the Sika® FerroGard® Duo anode units in both applied current and galvanic current modes of operation. The cure time and physical properties have been designed to simplify installation and optimise performance.

Sika® FerroGard® MN-15 RE

Sika® FerroGard® MN-15 RE is a manganese dioxide based long life reference electrode used to measure steel potentials in reinforced concrete and steel framed structures. The electrode measures the effectiveness of impressed current / galvanic cathodic protection systems and monitors steel corrosion activity.

The Sika® FerroGard® MN-15 RE reference electrode comprises of a core of manganese oxide encased in a polyethylene double walled tube which is capped with a cementitious plug.  The connection from the reference electrode is incorporated into an epoxy filled IP68 gland to maintain long term integrity.

Sika® FerroGard® MN-15 RE operates as a solid state electrode and does not require the addition of aggressive materials, such as chloride salts to initiate operation.
