Usage

Metalseal Rapid has been designed for use as an adhesive and sealant in lap joints of sheetmetal such as in heating and ventilation ducting.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from all dust, laitance, scale, rust, loose particles, grease and foreign matter. Oily surfaces should be wiped with Sika Thinner C. Bond strength on coated metals and plastics can be improved by light sanding.

 

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean up using Sika Thinner C.
